Microsoft launches new accelerator for gaming and tech startups
London gains another accelerator programme
Microsoft Ventures is opening a new accelerator programme in London, focusing on gaming and tech startups.
The new programme will initially be based at Central Working in Shoreditch.
Mentoring and business opportunities
The accelerator promises a combination of 1:1 mentoring, technical assistance and resources.

- Lift London and Lionhead Studios
Strong previous success rate
119 companies have already taken part in Microsoft Venture’s global programme, with 85% of them receiving funding within six months.
Applicants will also receive membership of Microsoft’s BizSpark programme including three years of free software, support and visibility.
Applications are open to companies at the seed stage of investment.
